How it works

From connection to conversation

Synthra works on behalf of the business that owns the Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number. Customers always start the conversation.

  1. Connect

The business owner connects their own Facebook Page, Instagram professional account or WhatsApp number to their Synthra workspace.

  2. Customer messages

A customer sends a message to the business or comments on a post.

  3. AI replies

The assistant answers using the business's own documents and settings. Spam and abusive comments are handled by rules the business chooses.

  4. Human handoff

When a person from the business replies, or a customer needs a human, the bot pauses for that conversation.

Messaging rules we follow

  • Synthra replies only to people who contacted the business first, and only within the messaging window each platform allows (for Messenger and Instagram, 24 hours after the customer's last message).
  • Synthra does not send unsolicited promotional or bulk messages.
  • Customers can ask the assistant to stop, or ask for their data to be deleted, at any time. See data deletion.
  • Businesses stay responsible for their own customer relationships and must follow platform policies and applicable law.
